Habilitation

Habilitation is provided in-home and at times in the community by habilitation technicians who work one-on-one with your child.  Habilitation technicians teach a variety of life skills, including communication,  socialization, gross motor and fine motor skills, and more. 

Who can receive Habilitation? 

Habilitation can be provided to children of all ages who qualify for DDD ALTCS services. Goals are tailored to meet the specific, individual needs of the child. Programs may range in the amount of hours necessary for attaining a child's goals.
